Sustainability is an integral part
of Green Arrow Capital’s
investment approach.
In 2019, the commitment to the UN PRI was formalized with a rating of up to 5 stars, through which ESG criteria were integrated into investment processes.
Since 2021, it has become a signatory to the UN Global Compact, supporting all 17 SDGs and committing to integrating their principles into its ESG strategy, as well as into daily business culture and activities, formalized through the transformation of the Group's holding into a Benefit Company, with a focus on to sustainable development objectives, the promotion of employee well-being and the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2028.

Through its the various activities, The Group is at the forefront of the country's energy transition and independence process supporting its economic and sustainable development, investing in the real economy, enhancing Made in Italy through an ESG approach to investing for the benefit of investors and all stakeholders.

Integration of transparency, accountability and good governance criteria into decision-making processes and fund management.
ESG governance
The management of ESG issues is integrated into the governance structure of the Group.
ESG Committee
It is composed of the CEO, the ESG Manager, the CIO, the CFO and the Chief Risk Officer. It supports the integration of ESG factors into the Group's investment strategies.
It oversees and monitors the ESG Roadmap, the KPIs of the SGR and the sustainability of the Funds and, where necessary, reviews ESG matters with the ESG Manager.
ESG Manager
The ESG Manager promotes and coordinates the ESG activities of the SGR and its Funds, as well as the integration of ESG policies and procedures across the SGR’s functions. In addition, they oversee and monitor the KPIs and the sustainability of the Funds, with direct and periodic reporting to the ESG Committee.
The ESG Manager collaborates with the ESG Champions in defining the ESG action plans of the portfolio companies.
ESG Champions
They are responsible for the application of responsible investment procedures and the integration of ESG issues into the fund management process (including the assessment of GPs, disclosure documents, etc.).
They define plans in collaboration with the ESG Manager.
ESG Board member
Director with specific ESG responsibilities responsible for aligning the Company's Sustainability Plan with that of GAC and the Group, including related policies and improvement targets, as well as promoting involvement and communication with stakeholders.
The Director is also required to update the Board of Directors at least every six months. These updates will cover the Company's annual ESG report, annual ESG objectives and any additional regulatory update where required.
Fund Advisory Board
If required by the fund's regulations, the fund's Advisory Board is involved in the investment process with respect to ESG aspects as part of governance and monitoring activities.
The Board of Directors is also updated every six months directly by the investment teams on issues of sustainability and responsible investment.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Green Arrow Capital considers the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a reference framework for guiding its investment strategies.

Climate Pioneer Partnership
Green Arrow Capital participates in Climate Pioneer Partnership, an initiative dedicated to reforestation and the reduction of CO₂ emissions.
For every tree planted by project partners, more than 308 kg of CO₂ are removed from the atmosphere over its lifetime.
